Small Moves, Ellie
Space Beach is both an original scripted and unscripted content creator as well as an end-to-end production services company. Founded by work/life partners Carol Ray Hartsell and Sean Crespo, Space Beach specializes in comedy with brains and heart (and all the other good organs, too). They co-wrote the upcoming film "Miracle On 74th Street" starring Jill Kargman, David Krumholtz, Eugene Cordero, Justin Bartha and Jenny Mollen. They are currently shopping their next screenplay, "Divorce Cruise," developing a science-comedy show starring astrophysicist Dr. Moiya McTier, and their pilot “Pro-Tem” was a semifinalist in the Golden Script Competition and a Second Rounder in the LaunchPad Pilot Competition. Carol made her feature film directing debut with the indie romcom “Love…Reconsidered” starring Sophie Von Haselberg, Colton Haynes and Javier Muñoz. It was released in February 2024 by Good Deed Entertainment and you can watch it on Amazon! They have worked with BBC, Peacock, TBS, Amazon Prime, Jax Media, Embassy Row and PBS to name a few.

Acting
Sean is an actor, comedian, improvisor and voice-over artist who studied at Emerson and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. He has been seen on FBI, Blue Bloods, Gotham, Happyish, Red Oaks, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee and in numerous commercials.

Writing
With a combined 4 Emmy nominations and 2 WGA Awards, Sean and Carol are a writing team that can do everything from social content and marketing copy to feature scripts. They create engaging characters, dialogue that resonates and stories that get people talking.
Editing
Carol is an editor and story producer who finds the message, heart and perfect comedic moments in every piece. From short social videos to
long-form reality and narrative, she brings an eye for detail and thrill of discovery to each project.
Directing
Carol is an experienced TV and film director, having worked for Jimmy Fallon's Kids Tonight Show, Full Frontal with Samantha Bee, and Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She made her feature film directorial debut in 2024 and is a member of the DGA.
